The frequency response extends up to 50,000 Hz, supporting crystal-clear Hi-Res Audio Certified playback. The GM-DX874 uses high-grade electronic components and gold-plated RCA connections to ensure maximum performance. You can configure your amplifier into 3-channel mode (4 ohm loads) to create a strong front soundstage (2x 75 watts RMS) with tight bass from the bridged subwoofer (1x 300 watts RMS). The speaker-level inputs allow installation in a factory system without RCA connections. Built-in high-pass and low-pass filters let you optimize the sound for your vehicle's interior. A wired bass control remote also lets you easily control the amount of bass from the subwoofer output (SW). Turn Up the Bass This amplifier features a wired bass control remote for optimal bass level adjustment according to your listening preferences and the characteristics of the music. Big Power-Small Size Pioneer’s extra-efficient Class-D amplifiers mark a dramatic improvement in power output capability, yet are 50% smaller than the current GM-Series Class-AB amplifiers, offering versatility in installation and performance. Packs a Punch The 4-channel amplifier is rated at a total of 1200 watts, with channels A and B rated at 150 watts x 4 (RMS) at 2 ohms, or 300 watts (RMS) at 4 ohms x 2 when bridged. Variable crossover networks offer increased flexibility and precise sound control. Angled terminals allow cleaner installation and direct wire contact for maximum power transfer. Automatic Signal Sensing and Turn-On The amplifier activates automatically when an audio signal is detected through speaker-level outputs. When using RCA pre-amplified sources, the amplifier uses the "Remote" input signal (+12Vdc) for activation. High-Quality Affordable Design A high-quality power supply ensures consistent power, improved signal-to-noise ratio, superior audio dynamics, and sustained bass, resulting in a more enjoyable listening experience. Hi-Res Certified Optimized PCB design reduces interference, improves channel separation, and lowers distortion. Audio film capacitors and a low-impedance coil ensure lifelike, high-resolution audio reproduction. Gold-Plated Terminals Gold-plated terminals maintain accurate signals, improve conductivity, prevent corrosion, and enhance durability. Pioneer TVC (Total Vibration Control) Pioneer’s TVC concept increases chassis rigidity and counteracts vibrations that affect sound quality. Heat sink structure and optimized fixing points reduce mechanical and circuit vibrations. Protection Control System (PCS) The PCS monitors input voltage, current consumption, and operating temperature to automatically adjust output and maintain operational stability in demanding conditions. Independent Variable Filters Variable high-pass (HPF) and low-pass (LPF) filters from 40 Hz to 500 Hz allow precise adjustment of the audio bandwidth. Filters are independent for channels "A," "B," and the subwoofer output (SW), giving you total control over speaker and subwoofer performance.
